Joshua was certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher at the age of sixteen, and has spent the last fifteen years practicing, learning, and growing in the art of energy medicine. As part of Silver Falls Holistic Horse Care he has recently been providing Reiki treatments to horses throughout the Willamette Valley, but looks forward to working with people again in a wellness setting. As a practitioner, he combines traditional energetic medicine with intuitive guidance and aims to create a safe, welcoming space for healing.
Energy Medicine is an alternative healing practice that consists of nourishing your energy systems with “universal healing” energy transferred through the hands of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage stress relief, emotional/physical/spiritual healing, and a greater sense of wellbeing. During a session, your practitioner will help remove blockages or disruptive energies in your energetic field, help balance your chakras with stones, and/or give recommendations for maintaining a healthy and balanced energy system. This practice is pain free, and does not require needles or physical contact.
